School Life VS Work Life

When we were still in #school, we used to be the one who raised up our hand when teacher asks questions. It is a good learning experiences where everyone learn together. Those days, we are dare to voice out , give opinions and answer the questions. That is how we learn and gain knowledge in school.

Once we entered to #work everything changed. When Boss or Superior ask questions and comments, most of us chose to keep quiet. We kept quiet is not because of we don't know the answers or lack of knowledge about it but is to avoid unnecessary problems. Sometimes, when a person thought of teamwork and try to voice out ideas to play a role as a team-player, others will just view them as trying to seek for attention.

That is why, some companies are so rigid and never advanced. Employees are all being demotivated, oppressed and suppressed. Therefore a lot of good employees may chose to resign to seek for a place where they could have the feelings of sense of belonging. Even though the new company may offer them lower salary, they still feel happier. A working adult spend most of their time in company, that's why as they grow, their aim is to have a peaceful work and balance life rather working in a company which is full of #offciepolitics and high salary.

If a company practice the culture of office politics, this company will never advance and one day it might collapse. So, whoever as Boss , besides thinking about your profit, employees are the asset too. They are the one who work and provide solid idea and make things work. The other day, while I thanks a Boss from a Taiwan Company for helping someone who just has a Diploma qualifications and appreciated his experiences. While others look down and insulted this person due to his qualification, this big boss from a Taiwan Company look at him without discrimination. So after I thanked this big boss, He replied "是人才就應該適得其所發揮長才貢獻社會,這是大衆之福啊!這社會需要有更多正能量的人來導正扶持。我們一起努力!" . Which overall means, talented people deserve to play the role in societies and it is a blessing to the society. Society needs people with more positive energy to guide and support. Let's strive together.

Honestly, he is a big boss handling international company but he is so humble. I never expect that I would get this reply which really light up my day to see the brighter side. Is it because this is Taiwanese culture on how they view and appreciate others? Perhaps those who had been or work in #Taiwan could share with me on your experiences dealing with them.
