Human should face the reality that no matter how good you are, you may not be appreciated or even being condemned. A single mistake can cause you in deep shit. People often got so upset until turned into depression and later on suicidal thoughts because they felt that they are not being appreciated, not being valued and then they start to feel hurt. Well, as long as you are aware that you had done the right thing, just move one. Ignore those people who does not appreciate you. Not worth it to be so upset because of those negative mindset.
